Mother, May I

Can I breathe today
Mother, May I look beyond the book you've given me

Can I build a bridge of inclusion
Create something out of this world

Mother, may I ask for God in a way I understand him
will you allow me to be baptized in the faith of here and now, let me
stand on my two feet, the ones you bathed, cradled and cared for

Can I walk away from you, in search of my own,
an own to own all on my own?

Mother, may I present me to you, with out you cutting at my SOUL to get a rise
dancing my way to keep a cool head, I want to include you in my inclusion but I am afraid to let you in
let you be seen
let you be a part of
I am afraid of the words

"sinner"
"demonic"
"J.W"

Curse words you throw at me, and believe me I could curse you if you wanted me to.....
Mother, May I live my life, for me and be okay with me living here, without you telling me I will not live forever, and you will take away your love?

Can you try to love me for me
Can you try to not remove yourself from my life
Can you try to look at me with out telling me I am NOT
Can you try to uplift my SOUL, with out down playing the fragile parts of me?
Can you try to let go so I won't be sacred to LOVE

Sacred to allow him to love me, the way I see it in his EYE

Can you let go so I can move forward, remove the "FORK" and allow my bishop to sweep across the battle field to get a "HUG"

Mother, may I live!
