"Little Sally" (Ghetto Education)

 Elementary School
Was crack pipes and
Dope fiends
Not literature and to be`s or
Not to be`s
Rise Sally rise Wipe your weeping eyes
Can’t rise `cause she was
Intravenously feed
Crack and M.S.G. during
Pregnancy
Down, down Baby, down, down a roller coaster
Ride she was on when dope stimulants
Bleed from her body
She can’t swing know more `cause
She was told
" Little Sally" stays in your seat
The seat was too small for her so
 She lost recess
Junior High was a joke `cause
All she did was skip rocks and
Skip school and then
She skipped life
Getting her first lesson in Anatomy
From NIGGA`s on street corners
Grabbin` and flash
Their man hood in little Sally’s face
Chemistry she failed in the classroom but passed on
The street standing` naked in
Bathroom and kitchens
Cutting and splitting the bio carbonates
To make that
Crack that bore her
On street Connors little Sally ran
From ghetto birds
And Po` Po`s for physical Education
Mathematics came
Natural when she realized
That if I do
2 bits, plus
2 more, I can come up with
4 divide by
2, I can stash 1/2 and split half and still half
2 more.
Algebra came natural when dealing
With promissory notes
That had know promise
By the time HIGH school rolled it’s
Way around a blunt
Or 2 had been fired and little Sally
 Kept getting
HIGHER and HIGHER,
Eventually that ghetto bird she ran from in Junior
HIGH caught up to her in graduation day
She didn’t get to cross her tassel she crossed
White lines
Pleading guilty to voluntarily
Throwing away her
Education the judge gave her 2
More counts on
Ignorance stamped her
With a felony and little Sally
Can’t rise no mo`
Years passed and little Sally ain’t so
Little no more
She’s got 2 years to catch-up on
 And 4 to become
Something more than 2years of school will do
While convicted of 2 counts of ignorance
She gained 2 counts of
Growth redefined to become
Accountable for ones own action
And she grew loving her
Self and her
GHETTO EDUCATION
