My
passion for education, youth development, cultural studies, case management,
and research are the driving force for the work that I currently do. My
employment choices and experiences have prepared me to work as a change agent
within education, the arts, social justice, youth development, and the current
adversities facing urban children and their families in an administrative as
well as classroom instruction capacity. I believe that with the right support
anyone can succeed. That being said, it is my belief that this support is a
part of a community effort.
I am a multilingual
management specialist with expertise in merchandising, educational program
development as well as classroom instruction. I have the drive, skill, wherewithal,
passion, pedagogical knowledge and flexibility needed to execute properly the
position which you are hiring. Those words are not just words to me; the field
of education is a life's passion and is a subject that I pursue with precision
and focus. The one thing that set me a part and makes me different is I have
desire and passion.
The current resume reflects my
time spent in San Francisco (1995-2002) and the work I did with the youth in
the LGBT community, Mobilization against Aids International, Health Gap
Coalition and various other organization. I mention this because these were
foundational positions I was responsible for maintaining and expanding. These
are the places I learned my ethic of dedication to phenomenal work. I shaped my
skill as an educator in those first positions, years before I actually became
an educator.
