We are women
we are the
very keepers of
time
sacred healers, veil
removers we are
sisters of the
circle
We force the
hand of introversion
to be counted
in the count
we hold space
when know space
seems to be
made available to
us
we are hued
from every color
that the sun
seas, reflective mirrors
builders of a
love that gives
and gives and
and just when
we think there
is no more
We create more
room to include
for each woman
we are each
other for each
other, shes is
my timekeeping comedian,
my glance across
the sterile room
my link to
things before now
my string to
pull today she
is what home
is...
we are women
we are sacred
we are keepers
of the circle.
Some may have
an extra cloth
that may cover
them when not
keeping the circle
A cloth of
things passed soiled
with many pieces
of the words
of our individual
and more often
collective story....outside
the circle
once we begin
to keep time
we become an:
ocean of knowledge
thats marked: "mommy"
we are women
we are colored
we are rooted
we are keepers
of the circle
