WHAT IS LOVE

.....we must learn to be kind to those that are kind to us, even we they DO NOT deserve it. 

I have taken so MUCH ABUSE from HUMANS and we wonder why the suicide rate is up. 

Just in the last two years: 

Been lied on

Been lied too

Been told "u do not belong here"

Been cheated on 

Been told "how dare you have an opinion"

Been dismissed as unimportant

Been removed 

Been YELLED AT (No one should be yelled at EVER) 

Been assaulted 

Allowed someone to be "coy"

Been placed on the back burner

Been forgotten

Been told I do not care if you eat

Been told live in the streets

Had my character defamed

Been told "excuse me you are in the way" 

Been looked at "unworthy to salute" 

Not given credit where credit is due from HUMANS:

Whose projects I have worked on and  they asked my opinions

Who are now apart of a larger family because I walk my path

Who now have crowns because I follow the ways of Orisha/Buddha-La/ Ifa

What has NOT happened is in all of those things because I believe in Orisha and Ifa, and I follow the ODU given to me I have not abandoned people: I still show up, walk my path and pray. 

IN THOSE MOMENTS OF PURE LOVE I EXPECT NOTHING IN RETURN 

(And still do not have an expectation of anything) 

This is merely a reflection. 

Only as I am writing I understand that I have-not experienced LOVE....

I know what HATE is tho. 

I have to tell myself "You are loved daily", because all the world wants to do is take from me, "the goose who lays golden eggs". 

LIFE IS DIFFICULT BUT I BEG OF YOU TO REALLY LOOK AT WHERE AND WHAT YOU ARE:

these two humans have NEVER changed the LOVE they placed in their hearts for me. And despite the craziness of the WORLD, they humbly show me how to LOVE SELF THROUGH Orisha. Despite having to beat people back with sticks (eleggua) and stones (Orisha).
